The Kayon Joy Lindsay-Scott Joy of Education Corporation is dedicated to academic excellence through active involvement in education and the community. Everyone, regardless of race, economic status, sex or religion should have the opportunity to receive a quality education. Our mission is to carry on the legacy of educator and scholar, Kayon Joy Lindsay-Scott, by providing academic scholarships to superior female students who are currently attending a college or university in Jamaica, West Indies.

• During our inaugural year, 2020, The Kayon Joy Lindsay-Scott Joy of Education Corporation will award one full four-year scholarship to a qualified senior high school student who plans to pursue a career in education by attending Shortwood Teachers' College. This scholarship will cover tuition, books, uniforms, meals, and housing on Shortwood Teachers’ College campus.

• The following academic years, The Kayon Joy Lindsay-Scott Joy of Education Corporation will award multiple USD$500.00 scholarships per year to current full-time students enrolled in colleges and universities in Jamaica, West Indies.
